Over 3,111 apartments connected to Evinox heat networks at new district in Canary Wharf.

New urban district in London’s Canary Wharf, which when complete will feature up to 3,600 new homes, a GP Surgery, a primary school, retail space, eight acres of public spaces, squares and parks.

The Wood Wharf development which began in 2014 is expected to completed within the next two years providing 5 million sq.ft. of residential, retail and office space. Evinox have provided a wide range of products across several phases of this development helping establish a complete district heating solution.

For blocks A2/A3 Indirect heating and instantaneous domestic hot water has been supplied via our ModuSat XRECO Twin Plate HIU’s. We have also provided cooling to apartments via our Single Plate Cooling units and for the penthouse apartments we supplied our ModuSat Floor Standing units that come with an integral, fast recovery hot water tank. All units are designed to operate with Evinox SmartTalk two-way communication system for remote metering and diagnostics.

Block G3 is a 28-storey residential tower that accounts for a significant part of the Wood Wharf expansion masterplan. For Block G3, Evinox will provide indirect heating and instantaneous domestic hot water to 176 apartments via our ModuSat XR Twin Plate heat interface units. Our integrated Modbus energy meters will be connect to a third party data logger via a hard wired TCP/IP ethernet network for the collection of metering data.
