About Evinox
We are leading the digitalisation and decarbonisation of heat networks.
Digitalisation of heat networks has resulted in improved efficiency and operability through data driven decision making, optimised configuration and better automated real-time control.
This approach to heat networks enables decarbonisation by optimising and reducing heat network flow rates and temperatures which reduces fuel consumption and is critical for low carbon heat delivery.
Heat networks are our passion and where we are innovating.
Transforming heat networks for over twenty years
Evinox Energy, founded in 2002, has built a strong reputation for its innovative approach to heat interface units (HIUs) and smart energy monitoring systems, playing a key role in the UK’s transition to low-carbon heating solutions.
In 2023, Evinox Energy merged with Minibems, a company known for its advanced digital platform for optimising the performance of heat networks. Minibems was founded with the goal of improving the efficiency and management of heat networks through real-time control and remote management software technology.
The merger of Evinox Energy and Minibems combined Evinox’ expertise in hardware and system design with Minibems’ cutting-edge digital controls and data analytics. This strategic partnership aims to create a more integrated and efficient solution for managing communal and district heating systems, enhancing the value provided to clients and supporting the UK’s goals for net zero heating.
Evinox has over 20-years experience with thousands of installations across the UK, including prestigious developments such as Battersea Power Station and City Island, Canary Wharf.

Our people & offices
Evinox’ main office is in Chessington in Surrey, south-west London (home of Chessington World of Adventure, and next to Epsom Downs Racecourse). We have additional teams in Glasgow and Christchurch and a large manufacturing facility in Romania, where we build our HIUs, CIUs and ModuPUC Utility Cupboards.
Evinox’ highly qualified designers and engineers are trained specialists in heat network equipment, including HIUs, CIUs and energy centers. Our support team is available to assist with any issues or questions, providing prompt and reliable service to ensure the smooth operation of your heat network.
Specialist customer service advisors are on hand 24/7 to support residents with any heating or hot water issues.
Evinox HIU, CIU, CHHC & PUC manufacturing
At our factory in Romania we manufacture HIUs, CIUs, CHHCs and PUCs. This facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and adheres to stringent quality control standards, ensuring that the products meet the highest performance and reliability benchmarks. The factory enables us to respond to clients bespoke project requirements in short time frames whilst offering competitively priced, high-quality products while maintaining a focus on innovation and sustainability.
ModuSat HIUs, CIUs and CHHCs are the heart of our hardware capabilities, delivering the demands of a modern energy-efficient heat network. They help optimise energy use, reduce carbon emissions, and provide reliable heating solutions tailored to the specific needs of each building, contributing to the overall sustainability of heat and cooling networks.
Prefabricated Utility Cupboards (PUCs) are engineered to streamline construction processes, reduce on-site installation time, and ensure consistent quality across multiple units. We manufacture a plug-and-play PUC solution that simplifies and reduces the cost of delivering building services.
Minibems technology
Minibems technology is an advanced digital platform designed to optimise the performance of communal and district heating networks. It focuses on improving energy efficiency by providing real-time monitoring, control, and data analytics for heat networks. The system continuously tracks and adjusts various parameters – temperature, flow rates and energy usage, ensuring that the heating system operates at peak efficiency.
By integrating smart controls and data-driven insights, Minibems technology helps reduce energy waste, lower carbon emissions and improve the overall reliability of heat networks. Minibems is valuable in providing precise management and control, yielding significant energy savings. This technology is a crucial tool in the transition to more sustainable and efficient heat networks.
