Warranty Validation

Boiler inspection for validation of the warranty

A warranty validation inspection of all our boilers within our range (optional with ZEM) must be carried out by our engineers in order to validate warranty. We will ensure that the boiler is set up correctly and that it is running at its peak efficiency.

Our aim is to guarantee 3 important factors:

• The boiler is set up correctly and running at its peak efficiency
• Validate our warranty and avoid end future disputes
• Peace of mind to our customer

We will check:

• The installation is 100% complete
• The equipment has been installed in accordance with our instructions
• The equipment has been installed to all gas safety and building regulations

Check List

1. Electrical connection and polarity to the boiler. Does it have permanent live?
2. Control wiring is correct and sensors are in screened cable
3. Installer has filled system and it is full and vented.
4. Chemicals are in the system.
5. Installer has purged the gas/ oil.
6. Installation complies with all safety regulations.
7. The flue installation. Is it correctly installed and supported?
8. Run boiler and test firing sequence.
9. P1 & P2 gas pressure checks.
10. Combustion settings.
11. Operation of safety devices.
12. Parameter settings match system design.
13. The condense pipe has not been run in copper or PVC overflow pipe and is a minimum size 1¼”.
14. Condense trap is full
15. Operation of all controls.
16. Operation of all control valves.
17. Location of hot water sensor.
18. Wait for hot water recovery. Does valve move to heating?
19. Is the unvented kit installed correctly?
20. Is the unvented zone valve operated by tank stats?
21. Attach combustion print out to this form.
22. Installer has set Expansion Vessel charge
